Having a Disney photographer is a great resource for capturing special memories on your vacation. They can add extra magic to your pictures by adding special borders, signatures and more. Plus, they can help you manage your photo downloads and products so that you don’t lose any of your photos.

The photographers can link your photos to your account by scanning your MagicBand, park ticket or PhotoPass card (provided to you by the photographer). If you have Memory Maker, ride and dining photos will automatically be linked when you scan them. Guests who purchase Genie+ will also have their ride photos included with their package.

Keep in mind that the photographers may ask you to do certain things with your hands. For example, they might ask you to hold your hand out as if it’s holding Tinker Bell. The photographer will then add a little extra magic, like a fairy added to the picture.

Some of the more popular Disney photo spots can get busy, especially during the peak seasons. Try to come to these locations in the earlier part of the day or late in the evening for a better chance of getting a spot with your favorite character.
