Premier Spray Foam Insulation

The spray foam insulation is applied to a house’s stud bay, then dries in place, creating an air barrier. It’s a long-lasting solution for an energy efficient home. The high R-value of spray foam can insulate better than other types of insulation, such as cellulose or fiberglass batts.

Its ability to seal spaces around light fixtures and electrical outlets, and where walls meet windows and doors, makes it ideal for new construction. But it can also be used to upgrade insulation in existing homes, commercial buildings, pole barns and metal garages. It will not compress or sag, and it fills all cracks and crevices upon installation.

Premier Spray Foam: Enhancing Energy Efficiency and Comfort in Every Space

When installing spray foam, it’s important to use a certified installer. It will help reduce exposure to isocyanates, which can cause irritation of the eyes, gastrointestinal tract and respiratory system. Over time, repeated exposure can lead to chemical bronchitis.

It’s also important to choose an insulation that uses a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) blowing agent, such as Gaco’s Solstice blowing agent, or a new generation HFO blowing agent like the Foam Supplies Incorporated Ecomate, which is based on naturally occurring methyl methane. The GWP of these new blowing agents is less than one, so it significantly reduces the environmental impact of spray foam insulation.
