Pricing

For 2024, Rivian lowered the base price of the Dual-Motor R1S to $74,800 including the $1,800 destination fee. Its new motors and inverters reduce materials costs by 35 percent compared to 2023, which it will pass along to buyers. A Large or Max Pack will add $6,000 and $16,000, respectively, to the base price.

Rivian will continue to offer the Dual-Motor R1S with a variety of wheel and battery options. It will be available with 21-inch wheels for the most efficiency, and 20-inch all-terrain tires for off-road performance. It will also be offered with the 135-kw Large and 149-kw Max battery packs. The latter will boost range to 400 miles, and it will also tune the engine and drivetrain for peak performance.
